ALBURY / WODONGA REGION
The twin cities of Albury and Wodonga sit on opposite banks of the Murray River. The river forms the state border between New South Wales and Victoria. Albury is in New South Wales and Wodonga in Victoria.
Albury-Wodonga is located centrally to Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide. Air, rail and road transport services Albury Wodonga. Located on the Hume Highway, road and rail services are extensive to Albury Wodonga. Additionally three airlines, Qantas, Virgin and Regional Express, provide daily services between Albury and Sydney and Melbourne.
There are numerous clubs, hotels, restaurants and cafes in Albury, offering a range of cuisine and entertainment options, all within 10 minutes drive from the Equestrian Centre. Albury Wodonga has some 50 hotels, motels and guesthouses for visitor accommodation.
The surrounding region has many attractions for tourists including the Rutherglen wineries, snowfields and historic towns such as Beechworth.
